The graduate profile is an important tool that will help us evaluate and assess the extent to which we are achieving our vision, and how far we are in accomplishing our mission. These are desired outcomes that we prayerfully and intentionally direct our students toward. Christ said, “… apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5), and God said, “… Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6), so as we lay down our graduate profile, we admit that we can only succeed in directing our students toward these desired outcomes in total dependence in Christ and His inexhaustible power.

GTC Graduate Profile

The graduate profile represents the ideal of what we hope our graduate will look like. Therefore it is not to be used as a legalistic document to pass judgment on individual student. It is not a graduation requirement nor a student self-assessment standard, but a practical way to see and assure that our vision and mission is being accomplished.

The graduate profile will be used by the College in designing relevant, context-conscious, and vision-driven programs. It will assist in developing and evaluating curricula of the different programs offered by the College. The faculty can also use it to prepare materials and design instructional methods that will produce the desired outcomes in our students.

Graduates of GTC will have completed their academic programs with a heart for effective ministry, passion to obey God’s word, and the necessary skills needed to integrate the word of God in all areas of their lives and ministries.

It is also a desired outcome toward which we direct our students as they “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). We hope that this graduate profile will be a God-placed burden in the hearts of Board members, faculty members, management team, and students; something that will drive all to depend on God, pray persistently and work hard to have the desired outcomes for the glory and praise of our God.
